Premature ejaculation drugs have recently been prescribed in the last few years and can be highly effective for sufferers of PE.

Private Clinics

First of all a warning. There have recently been a few private clinics who have prescribed their own cures for PE, in the form of a spray, particularly in Australia.

You should know that these sprays have not undergone any clinical trials or even any testing to see if they really do work at all.

There are so many other treatments out there that I implore you not to waste the hundreds of dollars that these clinics charge for what may at best be a placebo effect (the cure is only in your head) and what at worst could even be dangerous.

SSRIs

SSRIs are a modern class of antidepressant drug that have been used for a few decades as the first drug treatment option for those with anxiety or depression.

The true cause of premature ejaculation is not physical but mental. It is an anxiety about performance in the bedroom. Therefore, SSRIs have also been found to be helpful for men with PE.

There can be side effects of taking these drugs such as SSRI discontinuation syndrome. Personally, I recommend you look for natural ways but if you have exhausted all other methods of treating your PE and wish to go with SSRIs then I would do your own research before going to your doctor.

You see, your doctor may know a lot about antidepressants generally but he will not be a specialist on premature ejaculation. It is better for you to do your own research and present it to your doctor to make sure you get the right drug. For instance, Paroxetine works better than Fluoxetine but it is also associated with greater withdrawal side effects.

Future Drugs

Many drug companies claim to be working on effective drugs for PE that could be on the market within 3-5 years.

Having read about them, I am personally disappointed because they are not attempting to combat the root cause, the performance anxiety. Instead, they are going for a symptom-driven physical approach.

Further Comment

If you ignore the side effects, drugs like SSRIs are actually better than delay sprays because they go further than just treating the physical symptoms of premature ejaculation and they focus on the root cause, the performance anxiety.

However, no drug is a permanent cure. Take the drug away and the problems will return. The only real permanent approach is to rid yourself of the anxiety. My personal recommendation is to try a self help book and train yourself sexually so that you can overcome your performance anxiety.

There is no such thing as a premature ejaculation video to cure your problem. Not yet, anyway.

The reason is that many of the cures and remedies are easy to understand without needing to visualise them. However, there are some useful videos I managed to find out there.

Kegels

This is a method of training your PC muscle that is heavily featured in Christian Gudnason’s book, Ejaculation Master. His book goes into far greater detail but the video below is actually a pretty good introductory guide to Kegels.

Destin Gerek is a guy on Youtube who teaches about sexuality and tantric sex and he shows you in this video how to do a few basic Kegel exercises. Recommended watching.

Triangular Breathing

This is a great video from a guy called Alex Allman. Although the video is called “Part 2″, ignore the first part because it is just about talking to your partner.

This video though is about using a yogic technique called triangular breathing. It’s much easier than you think and Alex runs through how to use it. Try it for yourself and see if it helps with your PE.

Personally, I think it works because it is a method of distraction. In my opinion, this is not a great way to stop PE and is not a permanent cure. Nevertheless, it’s natural and free and you could use it tonight if you wanted to.

David Chappelle

This is a great stand up routing by Dave Chapelle on premature ejaculation.

It won’t specifically help you with your problem but it is worth watching because it will help you put your problem into perspective and see the lighter side of it.

There are basically 2 types of delay premature ejaculation product that you can use.

Short Term Products

These are best if you need something that will work tonight, or for a date that you have this week or maybe you just want to be able to perform when your girlfriend is in town and you rarely see her and you need things to go right.

Positions

This is not really a product but I thought I’d tell you anyway as it is one of the best ways and will also show your woman that you can be a master lover in bed. What you should do is to try different ones out and see what works for you. In particular, go for positions where she gets more clitoral stimulation.

Anesthetics

Positions work really well but if you need that extra piece of mind then you should go for anesthetics.

The delay condom is the best to try here first. It contains a small amount of anesthetic in the tip and will buy you a few extra minutes in the bedroom. I have written extensively on this topic here: climax control condoms.

Alternatively, if you don’t like condoms, then you can get yourself an anesthetic spray. This works in the same way but is more flexible in how little or how much you want to you use. What Is Anxiety Itself?

The medical definition of anxiety is “a feeling of apprehension and fear that manifests itself in physical symptoms e.g. sweating, palpitations”.

However, be aware that these drugs work all the time – both in the bedroom and out of the bedroom – and are powerfully mood altering. They can also have some unwanted side effects.

Confidence

Many men who get performance anxiety need to be more confident in themselves. What I mean by this is that these men may have confidence issues and need a mental boost.

If you walk into a bedroom and put your woman on a pedestal and see her as more than just beautiful but perhaps “too good” for you, if you feel that you absolutely must perform in order to prove to her your worth, if you do not take much of a lead in the bedroom but are passive, if you are generally not happy with a man being “dominant” in a relationship, then you could really benefit from a surge in your confidence.

If you look in nature and in all successful relationships through time, man has always dominated his women. By this, I don’t mean that men and women are not equal. They definitely have an equitable relationship.

Climax control condoms are a great way to stop your premature ejaculation.

How Do They Work?

Climax control condoms contain a small amount of anesthetic in the tip. Usually, this is benzocaine in a gel form. Quite often, you will not even realise it is there.

When the condom is rolled on, the gel will become absorbed into the tip (glans) of the penis. After about 5 to 10 minutes, there is a noticeable difference in sensitivity.
